Engineer Metrology

You want to actively shape the further development of innovative MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) products and make an impact at the interface between R&D and production? Then become part of our R&D Metrology & Testing team.

What will you do

  • In close collaboration with various specialist departments, you will continuously advance our MEMS products and establish new measurement and testing methods for R&D and production
  • You will carry out in-depth characterizations of samples and failure analyses
  • You will analyze data, evaluate it statistically, and prepare the results for different stakeholders
  • You will take responsibility for several inspection and measurement tools in wafer fabrication, analyze disruptions, resolve faults, and ensure second-level support
  • You will accompany the entire process from specification through evaluation and procurement to installation and qualification of new measurement systems
  • You will actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of quality documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, and process workflows

What you bring

You impress with an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working and communicate fluently in German and English (both at B2 level). You think entrepreneurially, act independently, and have the necessary assertiveness to successfully drive topics forward. You hold a master’s degree in microtechnology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics and have already gained experience with manufacturing and/or measurement processes in the semiconductor industry. You enjoy working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment and feel confident in a technologically demanding setting.

What we offer

  • Close to where products are created: In our brand-new cleanroom, you will experience how ideas become products
  • Genuine freedom to shape your work in a small team where your contribution has a direct impact
  • An interdisciplinary environment where new customer solutions emerge from different perspectives
  • Targeted training and development that helps you grow, as well as attractive benefits within the international Leister Group
  • A modern workplace with mountain views in Central Switzerland
